Wild Warrior Women: Menopause, Nature & Kindness

Wild Warrior Women.png

Saturday 7 November | 2–4pm | £35 per person

What if menopause came with a ritual, rather than a reckoning or a struggle?

Ange brings the Lithuanian sauna tradition to Scotland this November: birch and oak whisked against warm skin, steam rising, and the body reminded that it deserves attention. Blended with her own Scottish herbs and botanicals, it’s a ritual rooted in two lands and one simple idea: you are allowed to be cared for.

This session moves away from battling through menopause and towards meeting it with curiosity, care and kindness. Guided meditation, poetry, sauna ritual and traditional whisking sit alongside Ange’s homegrown Scottish Botanicals Body Polish, adding a rich, sensory layer to the afternoon.

You’ll leave with more than a lovely afternoon. Ange will share small, simple practices for self-kindness that can live in your everyday, long after the sauna cools.

Nurturing, playful and full of heart. A space to feel cared for, connected and supported.

Retreat Leader | Accredited Psychotherapist | Mindful Compassion Teacher | Sauna Ritual Facilitator

Ange Cameron has over 34 years of experience supporting people’s wellbeing as an accredited psychotherapist, facilitator, trainer and retreat leader. Her work combines evidence-based psychology with mindfulness, self-compassion and nature-based practices, including the ocean and sauna. She believes real wellbeing isn’t about striving to be better, but about learning to relate to ourselves with greater kindness, courage and awareness.

Alongside her psychotherapy work, Ange has been designing and facilitating sauna rituals for almost three years, drawing inspiration from Nordic and Baltic traditions while weaving in mindfulness, compassion and seasonal themes.

For over 15 years, she has also taken clients into the sea for healing, supporting people through grief, depression, trauma and much more. Ange has practised meditation for over 37 years and has undertaken advanced teacher training in both mindfulness and compassion.
